Airport Transportation Fee

MarineQuest programs are based out of UNCW's main campus at 601 South College Road, Wilmington, NC 28403. The campus is located approximately 7 miles (15-20 minute drive) from Wilmington International Airport (ILM).

For your convenience, MarineQuest staff can pick-up your student from ILM on the first day of program and drop them off on the final day of program. This service is provided ONLY on the first and last day.

Based on your students age there may be a charge associated with the MarineQuest Airline Shuttle.
Students Age 9 – 14
Traveling as a registered unaccompanied minor service with airline.
MarineQuest staff will meet the student at the airline gate upon arrival.
MarineQuest staff will sit with student until departure and stay at the gate until the plane has left Wilmington airspace.
$75 fee

Students Age 15 – 17
Traveling as a young adult (Not as a registered unaccompanied minor).
MarineQuest will meet the student at security.
MarineQuest staff will ensure the students passes through security.
No additional charge, must complete Airport Transportation Request.

Preferred Arrival and Departure Times:
Arrivals should be scheduled on the first day of the program (Sunday). Arrival times should be selected between a 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm time frame (when possible).
Departures should be scheduled on the last day of the program (Friday). Departure times should be selected between an 11:30 am - 2:30 pm time frame (when possible).
