Join MarineQuest for a week of wild weather fun and learn about treasured species of Southeastern North Carolina.  Explore the water cycle and discover how hurricanes form.  Learn how salt marshes and dunes protect our coast from storm surge erosion and what animals do to stay safe during storms.  Understand the difference between weather and climate, while investigating the impacts that climate change has on coastal and marine species. Develop a respect for highly prized marine species that have become endangered in our area and find out why they are the real treasure we seek.
